Tendrill uses Plaid to securely connect to your investment accounts. Plaid supports over 10,000 financial institutions across the United States, including all major brokerages, banks with investment services, and retirement account providers.
If your institution offers online account access, there’s a good chance it works with Tendrill. Search for your brokerage during the connection process to confirm.

Some account types have limitations:
Currently not supported:
  • Cryptocurrency-only exchanges (Coinbase, Kraken, etc.) - stock holdings are supported
  • Foreign brokerage accounts
  • Some employer stock plans (ESPPs, RSUs may show as “other holdings”)
  • Annuity contracts
  • Life insurance investment accounts

Connecting multiple accounts

You can link accounts from multiple brokerages to get a complete view of your portfolio:

Troubleshooting connections

  • Verify your username and password are correct
  • Check if your brokerage requires a security key or authenticator app
  • Some institutions have temporary outages - try again later

  • Certain account types (like 529 plans) may not sync holdings
  • Restricted accounts may show limited data
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the institution
